Happy Sunday afternoon!

Relaxing Sunday afternoon watching a movie with my boy and Adam.

Just trying to relax this afternoon before I have another busy busy week ahead of me. I'm in a class this takes up a good bit of my time in the afternoon's. The actually class is in the mornings. It's not bad at all. I've started a really great routine every week day. Wake up, make coffee, eat some cereal with dried fruit (or eat oatmeal or yogurt and fruit), add vanilla soy to cereal, spend a little time looking at the news online while finishing my cup of coffee. Then i get dressed for class, get my things ready, put on my headphones then I'm out the door heading towards the bus stop. Then I take the bus to campus, go to class. Then either walk all the way home or take the bus back to town. It's a good little routine for the day. I like walking to class, it makes me feel much much better throughout the day.

Maggie is out of town for a few days to visit her sister. I have the whole house to myself for a few days. :)
My grandmother and aunt are coming to take me to eat on Tuesday for lunch. They are coming to see my new house.
Then my mother is coming as well and is coming to stay the night.

I've been in the weirdest moods lately. For a few days, I'm in a great mood. Then I'll just go down hill and crash and be pissed off and depressed for a good few days.
It's weird. It's summer kate, why do am I all upset sometimes? It's too weird. My mood swings have gotten out of whack.
Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.

Pretty Day

Well, at least it's a pretty day outside? I've had a rough weekend to say the least. I got in a funk Friday night and it really didn't leave me until Sunday afternoon.
Last night was my friend Adam's birthday. He turned 21, so we threw him a party at my house. It was a success. We all planned on dressing up like him with fake tattoos (he just got his first one, look at my last post).

I tried to upload some Polaroids, but it's not letting me do it on here.
It's also not letting me post my old film.
ugh.
well, nothing is really going my way today.
at least it's pretty out. May try to go lay out and read some.

I always end up writing blogs on Sunday mornings. I know, I know what you are thinking.. "Geez kate, a little maroon 5 huh? lame."
But seriously, I should be in church right now. But today is.... MOVING DAY! Maggie and I are moving into our new house today! I don't have my furniture yetttt, but I will have all my furniture in about a week.
I have so much to do today/ this week it's not even funny. I need to spend today painting my final and also making a HUGE to do list for this up coming week.
So, I figured I should post a few pictures this week. Since I haven't in some time. I'm very sorry, just been kind of crazy these past few weeks with living out of my car, sleeping on a mattress on the floor, oh and having very little money since I haven't started working yet.
But here you go.
So last week, my boyfriend Hunter made me a delicious meal consisting of Homemade Ravioli stuffed with Butternut Squash, onions, and goat cheese with a light butter sauce. Plus a spinach salad with apples and a light vinegar dressing.
Haha I know, jealous huh? I'm so lucky, good thing he knows how to cook. I only have a few recipes under my belt that I can make.

For some reason at the beginning of this week we had this crazy dance party on Monday night at our friend Jitin's house. I mean.. Monday night?? Dancing?? Haha. It was great fun though. Here are a few photos that maybe can get your imaginative juices flowing for a little bit.

I guess it's obvious I don't enjoy getting my picture taken. Although, this all might change because my third roommate who will be with us in August is an amazing photographer. She is going to help me with my blog and my lookbook. Because both are lacking numerous amounts of creativity and great photography.
Oh good friend Martin came to town Friday night to hang out and to record some music. We had a little fun get together Friday night. It was fun, we hung out with some new and cool people. I hope we continue to start hanging with new people. I think it is good for everyone.

Just a little look at some folks. Oh, you see that kid with the beard. That's Adam. He just got tatted on Friday. He has a gorgeous bluebird on his arm. It's so pretty! His first tat! So proud.

 
I'm getting one so soon, I just don't know what I want yet. Ekkk.
Anyways, that was a fun Friday night. Last night, I did nothing but be a bum the whole night. Watched the movie Once. What did ya'll think about this movie? It was cute. I'm not a musical person.. but this wasn't a musical. But at times in the movie it got a little boring. Oh well.

So ready to move in. Can't wait!
